It’s Oscar time again, and as much as we are all excited at the prospect of Johnny Depp facing off against Daniel Day Lewis, and Blood trying to overshadow Old Men, I always get a little patriotic about the “Foreign Film” category. Bollywood and Indian film in general seem to have made their way around to capture hearts and cinema franchises around the world, but we haven’t had as great a representation at the Academy Awards as we would have liked: only three movies have been nominated in the 80 years of the Academy’s existence.
IndiaOn compiled a list of the ten movies that should have claimed the golden statue over the years.
